Uncle Arnold: A Life Reimagined
Have you ever wondered what might have been? This story explores that very question, centered around my late Uncle Arnold, a figure from my mother's side who tragically perished during World War II. But what if history took a different turn? What if the battlefield hadn't claimed him?
This is Uncle Arnold's life reimagined, a narrative woven from curiosity and a touch of the fantastical. We'll delve into his childhood, uncovering his passions, his family ties, and the formative experiences that shaped him. We'll follow him through youthful adventures, educational pursuits, and the global upheaval that defined the mid-20th century.
But then, something unexpected happens. Prepare to be surprised as Arnold's path takes a fascinating detour – a twist you'll have to discover within the pages themselves.
This story is more than just a "what if." It's a tribute to family, a journey of remembrance, and an invitation to connect. I hope it evokes laughter, tears, and a renewed appreciation for the lives we hold dear. So, grab a copy and join me on Uncle Arnold's extraordinary, reimagined life!

"One time, we were playing baseball and the ball landed somehow in Mrs. Lehto's living room. Everyone saw Jerry pitch the ball, but I wasn't sure what had happened to it after that, so I questioned everyone about it. Apparently, Martin hit it and then it went into the sun. George caught and threw it to Adrian, who swore he caught it and then it bounced out of his glove and ended up in the living room. It didn't break any glass, thankfully, because the window was open. The funny thing was that she lived a half block from where we were. So how did it get there? Had George really caught it, or was it something else he caught? Like a detective, I continued to question everyone about what they had seen and where they had been standing. But I never really came to any conclusions. Even Then, I felt the ball was moved by a spirit, but I never told anyone that. In the end, we made Adrian get it -- Mrs. Lehto was his grandmother, after all."
"Hey you, human being! Yes, you, reading this! Have you ever read a book like, what is called realistic fiction? You know, that some of the historical events and places are not real, and that is the fiction part. And then there are some real people and real events. This story is about Arnold Stuuri. He was my uncle on my mother’s side. He really died in World War II. But what if he didn’t die then? What would his life have been like if he actually lived into the 21st century? Who was he? Where did he come from? What would he have done with his life?"
"You see, I am no longer in my human form, but I have communicated my recollections of childhood and my life on Earth to her. These recollections are sometimes very vague. I wonder if that is because life was so horrible or because we forget as time goes on.
By the way, Christine is not crazy. As a spiritual being having a human experience, she has connected many times with the spirit world. With her certification in hypnosis, she has helped others connect with their souls and their souls' purpose on Earth."
